Isabelle “Izzy” Rodriguez

My name is Isabelle Rodriguez, though Izzy works just as well. I’ve been making art since I can remember, and have taken college courses in fine arts as well as graphic design. But for the most part much of what I have done has been on my own.

I ended up following the tattoo career path after doing henna tattoos for a couple years at a local amusement park. Someone suggested I look into doing an apprenticeship. I’ve been tattoing since the summer of 2007, and have worked at a couple shops before coming down to Hartford County Tattoo. It may have been one of the best moves I have done in my life thus far.

I tend to gravitate towards traditional and neo-traditional tattoos; I find thick outlines and bold colors to be very aesthetically appealing. However I’m very open to doing most other types of work as well!

A thanks goes out to my family and friends, especially my mom, for helping me get to where I am today! And a just as big thanks goes out to entire crew of Hartford County Tattoo – you guys rock!
